About the name Bombay Pirate:
I grew up in the city of Mumbai. Back then it was called Bombay. I always found something vaguely fun about Pirates and wanted to create a comic strip in my teens about a pirate from Bombay. I gave up on the comic strip, but the name stuck in my mind when I started my blog.
It was bombaypirate.blogspot.com once upon a time, now its bombaypirate.com.
